Lexi & Jake had one of the sweetest backyard weddings I've had the pleasure of documenting. One of Lexi's relatives owns an animal rescue farm close to Athens, Georgia and it set the perfect scene for this wedding. As an avid animal lover, there's just something about being in a place that helps animals that really kicks my creativity into high gear. Add to that a tremendous feeling of love lingering in the air, and you can understand why I really enjoyed being there.

Some of my favorite moments from this day include the heart shaped pizza that Jake ordered for Lexi while she was getting ready, seeing the massive stacks of polaroids that the couple and their friends were taking throughout the day, watching a mini-horse come down the aisle (big Li'l Sebastian fan here...RIP), seeing Lexi blow a kiss to her mom as she walked down the aisle with her dad, and of course, the moments just after Lexi & Jake walked back down the aisle together as a brand new married couple (those moments are always my favorite).
